Yuna

Age: 19 Default Class: Gunner Two years ago Yuna went on a pilgrimage as a summoner hoping that she would be able to defeat an evil being known as Sin that brought forth misery to the world. To do this, she would need to perform the Final Summoning. In exchange for the Final Summoning, Yuna would have to pay a heavy price: her life. When her guardians and herself reached Zanarkand, they confronted Lady Yunalesca and cast away their beliefs, defeating the woman and found an alternate route in defeating Sin. However, he disappeared Now the Eternal Calm is in the grasp of the people and all of Spira live happy lives. However, to Yuna, something seems missing. Rikku showed the young woman a sphere of a man, a man who looked like him. Was it him or just someone who looked like him? Knowing she couldn't live with herself without finding out the truth, Yuna joined a Sphere Hunter group known as the Gullwings in order to uncover the truth.

Rikku

Age: 17 Default Class: Thief Rikku was one of the guardians that protected Yuna on her journey to defeat Sin. The young woman also helped Yuna ultimately destroy Sin and Yu Yevon two years ago, bringing forth the Eternal Calm. Rikku is an Al Bhed, or a race that was once hated by a majority of Spira for using Machina, something that was forbidden in the teachings of Yevon. She is also Yuna's cousin. Before Yuna joined the Gullwings, Rikku showed the woman a sphere, the sphere that made Yuna decide to journey with the Gullwings. Rikku's brother, "Brother" is the leader of the Gullwings. The two of them both have an endless supply of energy and optimism that keeps the rest of the group upbeat.

Paine

Age: 18 Default Class: Warrior Paine joined the Gullwings just a little while before Yuna joined the group. Nobody really knows a whole lot about Paine as she isn't the type to voluenteer information to her friends. Her past is a bit of a mystery, but it seems that she joined the Gullwings because of something that happened to her at one point in her life. With her attitude, she kinda levels everyone out. When they are high on their happiness from finding a new sphere or something of the such, Paine is usually the one who pushes them back to reality and makes sure they know exactly what they are going against.

Leblanc

Age: ??? Default Class: N/A Leblanc is the leader of the sphere hunting group known as the Leblanc Syndicate. She bosses around her to main followers, Logos and Ormi almost constantly, but they usually seem to enjoy doing things for their "boss." Leblanc Syndicate is probably the biggest rival of the Gullwings. Leblanc and the Gang are usually there when Yuna and the others are after a sphere. Leblanc also seems to be in love with Nooj, but it pretty much seems one-sided.

Nooj

Age: 21 Default Class: N/A After the Eternal Calm began Spira was torn apart. No longer did anyone follow the teachings of Yevon, which was then seen to be misleading and full of lies. As a result of this, many wanted to bring the people of Spira back together and various groups were formed. One of them was the Youth League which was lead by meyvn Nooj. This man was a former crusader who lost a few of his limbs during the battles. The Youth League is known to be hot-blooded and reckless, causing many fights to break out between the groups in Spira.

Baralai

Age: 20 Default Class: N/A Yevon was not trusted anyone by the teachings of Spira, but that didn't stop the top officials from trying to reinstate the religion. They refined the teachings a bit and created a group called New Yevon. Baralai is the newly elected leader of New Yevon. The young man basically has the mannerism you would expect from one leading Yevon: He's very charming, however, underneath the smooth act, you have to know there is something more and less appealing.

Gippal

Age: 19 Default Class: N/A Gippal is the leader of the third group - the Machina Faction. They don't really get into the affairs of the other groups and people, instead they work to dig up weapons and research things to make new and better machina creations that can be useful. The Group consists almost entirely of Al Bhed. They also make their headquarters at Djose Temple. Gippal is a pretty fun-loving guy who doesn't seem to take life too seriously. He's laid-back and most people like him.
