Basic Profile
Lulu is a woman who lives in the Isle of Besaid. She is one of Yuna's friends, one in which the young summoner has had since she was a child. Lulu grew up with both Yuna and Wakka in Besaid. The three of them are very close to each other, so close that they are like siblings. Lulu treats Yuna like a yonger sister - he shows her a great deal of kindness and affection all while also being strict with her and offering her advice.
When Yuna became a full-fledged summoner, Lulu was quite proud of her. Of course Lulu decided to become one of Yuna's guardians, in order to protect the young summoner on her journey to defeat Sin. When Tidus is introduced to the group, Lulu is quite cold to the young man, not knowing that he has good intentions. All-in-all Lulu is very protective of Yuna.
 
Personality
At first glance, Lulu can seem quite cold and distant. This is the case only with people she does not know well. However, it can quickly be seen that Lulu is actually quite a caring individual inside of her calm exterior. She shows a great deal of affection to those she loves, especially Yuna. She offers her advice on various situations, almost as if she is wise beyond her years.
Possibly Spoiling Information
Lulu grew up in Besaid with both Lulu and Wakka. However, Wakka's yonger brother, Chappu, also lived with them. Lulu and Chappu did spend a great deal of time together and eventually the two of them fell in love with one another. They were to get married, however, Chappu went off to defeat Sin and eventually was killed. Lulu was struck with grief, quite obviously.
Later on, Lulu became a guardian to a summoner and traveled across Spira with them. Their journey ended, however, in the Calm Lands at the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth where the summoner that Lulu was guarding was struck down and killed. Lulu was also devestated by this event, which can probably be a bit of the reason why she is so protective over the Summoner Yuna - she does not want the same thing to happen again.
