Mateus ~ The Corrupt
Mateus is one of the first espers you encounter during the game. She may very well remind you of Shiva from the previous Final Fantasy games, due to the fact that like Shiva, Mateus is an ice maiden. Since she does use ice as her primary element, you'll want tobring herout against monsters that are weak to ice elemental attacks, since that is where her true power shines through.
