There is a quest in Dollet you can compete in as early as Disc 3 in Dollet. You'll at least need the mobile garden in order to get back there.
There is an Artist in the town that you can talk to to start a quest that will offer some rewards. The steps are below.
- Go to the Artist's House. When inside Examine the picture then talk to the little boy there.
- Go to the fountain area in town. There will be a puppy there. If you pat him, he'll give you an item.
- Go to the artist's house again and examine the new painting. Afterwards, talk to the boy.
- Go to the dog once more, he'll give you an item.
- Once again, go to the house, examine a painting, talk to the boy.
- At least, go to the doggy again and get your item.
