Gilgamesh is another "hidden" Guardian Force in the game. The only requirement is that... well, you lose Odin, that is, if you get Odin before the end of Disc 3. You can't have both summons in your party, so you'll want to decide which one you want.

If you've obtained Odin by the time you fight Seifer at the end of the third disc, Odin will automatically pop out. Seifer will smirk, as he always does, and rids of Odin. However, during the battle, Gilgamesh will pop out as odin did and damage Seifer badly, resulting in you obtaining Gilgamesh!

like Odin, Gilgamesh will randomly appear in battles, including boss battles, to dish out lots of damage. Below are his skills he will use at random:

Excalipoor:
1 damage to all enemies.

Excalibur:
Good damage to all enemies.

Zantetsuken:
Instant death to enemies.

Masamune:
Heavy damage to all enemies.
