Occult Fan is a strange four-volume magazine. It is hidden in various locations in the game. The ultimate purpose of this ingame publication is to lead players to the whereabouts of doomtrain, a hidden guardian force in the game. Though it is not required to collect these volumes to get doomtrain, but if you want to get everything in the game, it is good to have them in your collection.

Locations

Occult Fan I
This volume can be obtained at the beginning of the game when just Squall is roaming about by himself. It will be in one of the bookshelves, in the library. Very easy to find this. This introduces you to the myteries of a strange monster, that being doomtrain.

Occult Fan II
In Dollet, head to the Master Card Player's room. It'll be in there.

Occult Fan III
Sadly, if you miss this one, you can't get this later. When you first head to Fisherman's Horizon, talk to the Master Fisherman.

Occult Fan IV
When you go to the Esthar Presidential Palace, talk to the aide and snag this one.
