Odin is one of the hidden Guardian Forces in the game. You can get odin pretty early on in the game, once you have the ability to cross over oceans in the Balamb Garden. The place you'll want to look for is the Centra Ruins on the Centra Continent. Since there is not a whole lot on this continent, it should be fairly easy for you to find your way there.
Once you go in, a timer will be set. The amount of time on this timer is 20 minutes, which is more than enough time for you to slaughter Odin, so don't stress too much!
You'll want to go up a flighty of stairs and find an elevator. To the right of the stairs there is a ladder that leads up to an Aero draw point. To the left of the stairs there will be a blue orb that you'll want to examine. Once you examine the orb on the panel, a staircase will be revealed. When they are revealed, go up them and climb a ladder that will be to the left. There should be a few statues. Examine the top one. Now head to the very top of the structure and examine the large statue. You'll need to place the eye in the statue here. Afterwards, take it out and return to the very first statue. Place the eyes in there and you'll get to battle Odin.
After you defeat him, he'll become a GF, but not just a normal GF. You will not be able to summon him but he will randomly come into battle and kill all the enemies in one swipe. Very handy! You'll also get the Odin Card.
