She has a great amount of natural abilities in teacher, which is why she was chosen for the job. Not only that, but she's also a member of SeeD! She is Squall's teacher, and she is the one who goes to the fiery cave and helps him obtain the Guardian Force Ifrit, which is part of the requirement for becoming a full-fledged SeeD member. Soon after Squall becomes a SeeD himself, Quistis breaks the news to Squall that she will no longer be able to be an instructer as she was dismissed from the position, but instead, will be going on missions of her own as a SeeD member. The two later meet up in Timber, where they begin to travel together. Quistis' role is usually to give Squall and the gang advice as she is a bit more knowing of various situations than many of them area. |
