Zidane and friends roam around on what seems to be an endless stretch of land, eagerly awaiting their next destination. As they do so, they encounter battle upon battle, all filled with rage-filled monsters, ready to gnaw the party's heads off. However, hidden amoung these terrible fiends are some which do not want to kill them, but rather, ask for a favor. A favor that will grant them items and special privleges later on. What are these, you ask?

Not only will they reap rewards of items, but the party will also not face as large of a challenge later on. When they reach the sky and battle the evil Ozma in their travels, this terrible boss' level will be greatly reduced: from level 99 to 70! Hohoho, what a wonderful thing, indeed!

Do talk to these creatures in order, or they might just not be there.

Please do not allow Zidane to feed the strange Gimmie Cat outside of Daguerreo, for the beast will simply laugh at the tailed-boy and steal your diamond, making him unable to speak to the last monster.
