[nobodies block the two] Sora: Donald! Goofy! [someone steps out of darkness w/ a keyblade] [they are then transported elsewhere while fighting] Sora: Who-who are you? ???: Someone from the dark. Sora: You can't be Riku. ???: Riku? ... I defeated a Riku once. Sora: You what?! ???: Tell me... Tell me why he picked you! [ little more fighting ] I see. That's why. [they black cloak figure catches Sora's keyblade, but it goes back to Sora] ???: What?! [reveals Roxas] Roxas: You make a good other. [Sora goes back to real realm] Sora: You make a good other. Donald: Are you okay? Sora: What... just happened? Goofy: Gawrsh, I dunno. You just disappeared. Then me and Donald had to fight some Nobodies. Sora: Oh. He said... he defeated Riku... Donald: Who said that? Sora: The guy. In the black coat. Donald: But nobody could defeat Riku. Sora: Y...Yeah, you're right. Goofy: A black coat means Organization XIII. He musta been tryin' to trick ya. Donald: Yeah, that must be why we didn't see him! You must be tired, Sora. Goofy: C'mon, let's just find a way to get into the castle! [later on] Sora: Dead end? Mickey: There's gotta be a path somewhere. [scene shifts to Kairi held in a cell] Kairi: What are you going to do with us? Saix: You're the fire that feeds Sora's anger. Kairi: No... Sora's in danger because of me... [Namine appears from a dark hole] Namine: This way. Kairi: Who---? Namine: Believe in yourself. C'mon, hurry! [back to Sora; uses keyblade to open path] Sora: Kairi... We're almost there. [inside] Sora: Kairi! Where are you? Mickey: Shhh! Remember where we are! This is their stronghold! Donald: Wait! Your Majesty! Goofy: Be careful! I think we got company! [scene switching to Kairi and Namine Running] Saix: Namine... There you are. Kairi: Namine? Saix: Kairi. I'm afraid leaving is not an option. I'll take you to see Sora. [pause] You don't want that? Kairi: I do. More than anything. But not with you around. Saix: If I had a heart, this would be where I die of laughter. [Someone appears and destroys nobodies] You... Didn't Roxas take care of you? Namine: You can take it from here, Riku. Kairi: Riku? [Rikku and Saix fight, Saix summons a dark portal, then Riku attempts to follow him] Kairi: Wait! Riku... you're really here... [Kairi pulls down his hood, revealing his figure, turned into Ansem the Heartless] [later on] Saix: Sora... You've done well. Sora: Where's Kairi? Saix: Who knows? I expect she's catching up with her friend from the darkness. Sora: What do you mean? Saix: She does not need you anymore. Sora: I'm supposed to believe that? Saix: Well, you don't have to... But you can believe this. Organization XIII has no further use for you. Just look up there. Our Kingdom Hearts... Thanks to you, we've collected countless hearts... Can you hear their euphoria? Now, all they need is one more helping from the Keyblade bearer! Donald: We gotta fight! Sora: But -- Kingdom Hearts! Kairi: Sora! Sora, it's really you! Sora: Kairi! [heartless attack Sora] Kairi: You leave Sora alone! [Kairi jumps down but falls, Riku saves her and hands hey keyblade] Riku: Take this. Kairi: This time... I'LL fight. You know Sora's completely hopeless without us! C'mon, Riku. [Maleficent and Pete Appear] Saix: Well, well. Will the intrusions never end? Maleficent: Why, Pete... this castle is perfect. Perhaps we should... acquire it. Pete: Well, the setup is... kinda nice, I guess, but... what about all the Heartless? This in-between world -- it's way too close to the darkness! They ain't gonna listen to us here! Maleficent: Once again, you underestimate me. [scene shifts Mickey and DiZ, he removed bandages, Ansem the Wise] Ansem the Wise: It's been too long, my friend. Mickey: Ansem the Wise. Why didn't you come to me before things got so bad? Ansem the Wise: Xemnas, the Organization's Superior, is the Nobody of Xehanort, my foremost apprentice. The burden was mine to bear. Mickey: Is that all? Ansem the Wise: I won't deny there was more. I was... obsessed with thoughts of revenge. My apprentices stole everything precious to me - my research, and my pride. Mickey: I can't help you with revenge. Ansem the Wise: I know. Riku's told me a thousand times. Mickey: Where is he? Ansem the Wise: He must be with his friends by now. Riku was a great help to me. I found him wandering the darkness, after you and he lost track of each other. Mickey: Gosh, we didn't lose each other exactly. Riku left... well, 'cause Xehanort's Heartless was still inside his heart, troubling him. And he sure must've been suffering. But what I don't understand is why he looks like that now, when he's still Riku at heart... Ansem the Wise: I am to blame. When I met Riku the first time he still had the apperance of a boy. Probably because he had such a strong heart. I asked him to find a young man named Roxas from Organization XIII, and bring him to me. When I told him it would help Sora awaken from his slumber, Riku left without a word. He fought with Roxas. And I can only surmise Riku lost that fight. Riku must have realized then: to fight in the realm of darkness, he would have to immerse himself in that same darkness. And when he did... you saw what became of him. When Riku brought Roxas back to me, he was introducing himself... as Ansem. If that was what it took to awaken his friend, he was ready to live in darkness. Riku was a victim of my revenge. ... Oh, how my heart ached. I could only laugh to hide my shame. Mickey: I guess it musta been after that when I saw Riku again. He said he wanted to help Sora but he made me promise -- Promise that Sora wouldn't ever find out about what happened to him while he was out in the darkness. Ansem the Wise: My friend, the time has come. I must make amends to these young people. [Back to Sora, can see Riku and Kairi fighting above] Sora: What's going on?! Xigbar: Have you been a good boy? Sora: Show yourself! Xigbar: Oh, it sounds like you haven't. Sora! Roxas! Donald: Roxas? Sora: Hey, did he just call me Roxas? Xigbar: You've really put Organization XIII in a pickle. I guess that must be why the Keyblade chose you. But MAN, did it pick a dud this time. You don't look like you're half the hero the others were. Sora: Are you done rambling? Xigbar: Ramvling? As if! All I'm trying to tell you, traitor, is that your time is up! Goofy: Here he comes. [battle] Sora: Why did you call me Roxas? Xigbar: Wouldn't you like to know... Sora: Hey! Hold on! [Xigbar Disappears] Donald: Sora! It's Kairi! [flash to mickey and Ansem the Wise] Mickey: Uh-oh, they need our help. Ansem the Wise: Sora and Riku are together. We have no part to play here. Mickey: Gee, I wonder if Riku will ever change back... Ansem the Wise: Riku chose that form so he could use the power of darkness. It won't be easy. [later it shows Xemnas looking towards Kingdom Hearts] Xemnas: Yes... Kingdom Hearts... Rejoice, and feast on these hearts we offer! Shine your pale light on the empty realm... Share your power with all Nobodies! Saix: Xemnas. Is Kingdom Hearts ready? Xemnas: Very soon. Saix: Then, I can end this charade? Xemnas: Indeed. Saix: How I've waited to hear that. [back to Sora and Gang] Sora: Kairi, you were great. Kairi: Oh? SoraYou are different Kairi, but I'm just glad you're here! Kairi: You and Riku never came home, so I came looking for you. Sora: I'm sorry. [Kairi hugs him] Kairi: This is real... Sora: Wait, Ansem! I mean, Xehanort's Heartless... I never thought for a second that I'd ever see YOU again. Just thinking about all the things you did makes me really mad. But... But you saved Kairi right? I have to be grateful for that... Thanks. Kairi: Riku, don't go! Sora: Kairi, what did you just say? Kairi: Riku. Riku: I'm no one -- just a castaway from the darkness. Kairi: Sora, come here. Say something to him. [they join hands] Here. You'll understand. Close your eyes. [closes eyes to see Riku] Sora: Riku... It's Riku. Riku's here... I looked for you! Riku: C'mon, Sora. You've got to pull it together. I looked everywhere for you! Riku: I didn't want you to find me. Goofy: But it was him that was helpin' us, wasn't it? Those clues we kept finding. That musta been Riku. Riku: I was starting to worry you guys weren't ever gonna catch on. Sora never did pick the brightest friends. Donald: What do you mean by that?! Sora: Why didn't you let me know you were okay? Riku: I told you... I didn't want to be found. Not like this... I couldn't. I fought with Ansem. With... Xehanort's Heartless -- when it invaded my heart, and I won. But to use the power of the darkness, I had to become Ansem myself. Kairi: Does that mean... you can't change back? Riku: This battle isn't over. And until it is, I still need the power of darkness. Sora: Then... let's finish it. You're still Riku no matter what. So, how about it? Think we can handle one last rumble together? The King's waiting. Yeah! Let's get going! [later] Mickey: What's this gadget for? Ansem the Wise: It's a device to reclaim Kingdom Hearts and encode it as data. Mickey: Not sure I get it. Ansem the Wise: I do not claim to know the outcome of this venture, either. After all... Hearts are unpredictable. [later] Sora: What's that? Riku: It's the King and DiZ - I mean, Ansem the Wise. They must be higher up. We better hurry. [Luxord comes out and traps Kairi and Riku] Luxord: I'd rather we just skip the formalities. [battle] Luxord: How could you... Roxas... Sora: That's SORA! Kairi: You okay? Sora: Yeah! No worries. Let's keep moving. |
