Game Information
Persona 4 starts with the main character heading to Inaba. In this small town he will be attending school and living with his uncle for the next year. While in Inaba he meets with several other students. One of these students, Chie, tells him about a strange thing known as the Midnight Channel. It is said if one watches the Midnight Channel on a rainy night that their soulmate will be revealed to them on the television set. It sounds like a hoax, however, the main character decides he will watch it on the next rainy night.
When that night comes something strange happens. He seems a young woman on the screen who looks to be calling out in pain. When he gets closer to the television set he ends up putting his hand up to it and to his suprise - his hand goes through! What could this mean? The next day at school he tells his two friends about it - Chie and Yosuke - but they shrug it off as a joke. That is until the main character sticks his hand into a television at the local department store. What could this mean!? The three of them fall into the television set and meet a creature - a strange bear named Teddie. Teddie tells them about this world and let's them know that they don't belong, however, the three students can't let it go - they have to find out what this TV world is.
